CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women’s volleyball team travels to Durham, North Carolina this weekend, September 16-17, to take on the Winthrop (3-6) and Duke (7- 2). Team Crimson (1-5) is coming off their first win of the season against Iona. The game against Winthrop is Friday, September 16 at 3 p.m. followed by the game against Duke on Saturday, September 17 at 12 p.m.
What there is to know
– Harvard last played three home games at the Harvard Invitational. They ended the weekend with a 3-2 win over Iona after losses to Utah Valley and Georgia.
– The Crimsons are 0-1 against Winthrop and Duke, having met each team once before trailing 3-2 losses.
-Junior Nicole Prescott was named to the All-Tournament team last weekend at the Harvard Invitational for her performance, highlighted by two aces in the fifth set that helped cement the Crimson’s victory.
-Prescott and freshman Hannah Nguyen have been named to the Ivy League Honor Roll for the week of September 12.
-The game against Duke will be broadcast on ACC Network. Live stats will be available for both matches.
Harvard’s volleyball team will start the home conference game Saturday, Sept. 24 at 5 p.m. against Dartmouth. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
