USFCA Announces Winners from All Regions – Duke University

DURHAM- The United States Fencing Coaches Association (USFCA) announced the teams for all 2022 NCAA fencing regions, which were released by the organization on Monday.

These awards are determined based on results and field size at each of the NCAA regional meets.

Duke earned two All-Region First-Team selections in Christine Ferrari (leaf) and Alex Gorman (sabre) and a second team honored in Terence Lee (saber).

Seven Blue Devils also received honorable mentions in Danny CampbellIII (sword), Catherine Flagan (foil), Finn Hoessfeld (foil), Stephen Kim (saber), Allen Marakov (sword), Ava Navarre (sword) and Anneke Zegers (saber).

Campbell III, Ferrari, Flanagan, Gorman, Hossfeld, Lee and Zegers have qualified for the upcoming NCAA Fencing Championship, which is scheduled for this weekend.
