DURHAM, North Carolina – Customers traveling to Duke University West Campus on Saturday, January 8 should be aware of the following parking information for the Duke Men’s Basketball Game and Swim Meet vs. Queens/Tennessee. The swim meet against Queens/Tennessee will take place at the Taishoff Aquatics Pavilion at 11 a.m. Duke Men’s Basketball will play Miami Men’s Basketball at 8 p.m. at Cameron Indoor Stadium. General public parking – For the swim meet, FREE public parking will be available in the Science Drive garage near Cameron Boulevard. FREE public parking will be available starting at 7 a.m. on Saturday, January 8 for the swim meet against Queens and Tennessee.

Parking accessible to the general public – FREE parking for disabled people attending the swim meet will be available in the Card Gym car park near Towerview Road from 7am.

Traffic checkpoints for men’s basketball – For all Duke men’s basketball home games, checkpoints are set up on roads surrounding campus to keep only necessary traffic on inner campus roads. Checkpoints will become active on Saturday, January 8 at 6 p.m. All Iron Duke Parking Permit holders must have their Iron Duke Parking Permit clipped to their rearview mirror when approaching to access these checkpoints and their designated lots.

Control points are located at the following intersections:

  • Intersection of Science Drive and NC 751/Cameron Blvd.
  • Junction of Towerview Road and Circuit Drive
  • Towerview Road Roundabout at Wannamaker Drive


Duke of Iron parking lot – All Iron Duke grounds will open at 5 p.m. for game day parking. Iron Duke Men’s Basketball parking passes must be presented to access designated courts. All Science Drive Garage Iron Duke Men’s Basketball parking permit holders must enter and exit the garage at NC 751/Cameron Blvd.

For Iron Duke parking permit holders with accessible parking, handicapped shuttles and vans equipped with an ADA lift begin operating at 5:00 p.m. and run until one (1) hour after the game. Shuttle buses run at regular intervals to Whitford Lot, Science Drive Visitors’ Lot and Science Drive Garage. For assistance from another Iron Duke parking lot, please speak to the parking lot attendant for assistance from a van equipped with an ADA lift. A handicapped-accessible drop-off and pick-up point is located at the Science Drive Visitor Park.

General public parking – General public parking is located in the Chemistry Lot and Circuit Lots on Circuit Drive. There is a $15.00 fee to park – CASH ONLY. The general public car park will be open from 6 p.m.

Parking accessible to the general public – General public accessible parking for the disabled is available in blue zone lot B-5 on Wannamaker Drive, off Towerview Road. Towerview Road can be accessed via Duke University Road. There is a $15.00 fee to park – CASH ONLY. Accessible parking will open at 6 p.m. A handicapped-accessible drop-off and pick-up point is available at the back of Blue Zone Lot B-5, outside the Wilson Gate of Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium.

General public parking passes can be purchased in advance for $10.00 by going to and clicking on the Duke MBB v Miami event button. If fans don’t already have an account, follow the steps to sign up for One Link to purchase a pass. Fans must purchase the Duke Men’s Basketball Parking Pass for Miami. General public parking on site will cost $15.00 CASH ONLY.

Van service equipped with a lift is available from Blue Zone Lot B-5 at the Wilson Gate of Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium to the Cameron Indoor Stadium at the Krzyzewskiville sign. Guests with reduced mobility are encouraged to use this service for transport to/from the stadium.

An accessible pedestrian route to Cameron Indoor Stadium is also available by following the sidewalk around Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium to Bostock Gate and Tribull Plaza. Post-game access to the accessible drop-off and pick-up point is permitted on Towerview Drive.

Rideshare/taxi information – The designated drop-off/pick-up location for all taxis, hotel shuttles and ride-sharing services is located at the Student Wellness Lot on Towerview Road at Union Drive. Drop-off/pick-up point must be accessible from NC 751/Cameron Blvd. at Science Drive due to game day traffic restrictions. Services attempting to drop off/pick up at other locations near the stadium will be denied access and will be directed to that location. There is no match day parking at this location – 20 minute drop off/pick up area only.
