OHSVCA announces All-Ohio teams for women’s volleyball

Many southwest Ohio volleyball players have been named All-Ohio as the Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association released its All-Ohio teams Monday morning.

In Division I, the top-ranked Ursuline Academy had three Lions on the roster, while Kings had two. Mercy McAuley placed a few wolves among the Division II winners. Badin also has two daughters on the DII team.

Here are the Division I and II teams with local players in bold:

Coach of the year

Alyssa Fladung by Roger Bacon was voted Division II Coach of the Year. Among those who received the Coaches Achievement Award were Ali Boucher of the Ursulines in Division I, Samantha Gagnon of Mercy McAuley in Division II, and Courtney Weinheimer of Badin.
