NGX regulations to host the issuer engagement forum

In fulfilling its commitment to maintain excellent service delivery and deliver solutions in line with stakeholder needs, NGX Regulation Limited (NGX RegCo) will host its Issuer Engagement Forum on Tuesday, December 14, 2021.

Hosted by the CEO of NGX RegCo, Ms. Tinuade Awe, the virtual event with the theme, Corporate disclosures: beyond the numbers, will give issuers the opportunity to interact with NGX RegCo to share their experiences and gain insight into emerging and global trends even as we move rapidly into the New Year. Since the session will be interactive, attendees will also have the opportunity to discuss their concerns regarding post-listing obligations of issuers and to point out to NGX RegCo where they might need assistance in maintaining compliance with the rules and regulations of Nigerian Exchange Limited.

To ensure a meaningful discussion at the event, NGX RegCo brought together a panel of internationally renowned professionals in the fields of sustainable finance, sustainability reporting and integrated reporting to facilitate reporting conversations across the board. new disclosure regime. The keynote speaker for the session will be Professor Kenneth Amaeshi, Visiting Professor of Leadership and Financial Markets in Africa and London, School of Economics & Political Science.

There will also be a panel discussion with Dr Innocent Okwusa, Visiting Associate Professor, Caleb University & 1st DVP, ICAN; Professor Carol Adams, Professor of Accounting, Durham University Business School; Ms. Eunice Sampson, Director, Climate Change and Sustainability West Africa, Ernst & Young; with Mr. Olumide Lala, co-founder and director of Climate Transition Limited as moderator of the panel.
