DURHAM- The Duke Fencing Team returns to Bull City to host the annual Duke Meet Saturday and Sunday at Card Gymnasium. The two days of competition will start at 8:00 a.m., with the final at 4:30 p.m. Both days of competition will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra via WatchESPN.
The Duke’s sixth-ranked men are set to take on Air Force, Boston College, Brandeis, Johns Hopkins and No. 3 Penn State while the 12th-ranked women will battle Air Force, Boston College, Brandeis, No. 3 Penn State. No. 7 Penn State and No. 9 Temple.
With two games on the books, Duke’s men are 8-1 while the women are 6-5.
Christine Ferrari (foil), Alex Gorman (saber) and Anneke Zegers (saber) leads the entire team with 23 wins apiece, while freshman Vivi Buchmann (saber) has 17 wins in his first season with the Blue Devils.
For men, junior captain Finn Hoessfeld (foil) boasts an impressive 17-5 record as he posted a near-flawless 11-1 record at the Philadelphia Invitational. Terence Lee (saber) and Sam Gruber (foil) each have 15 victories to their credit.

All guests and staff are required to present proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result (antigen or PCR) within 72 hours of meeting. Guests and staff can upload their vaccination card or negative test for each event at DukeCheckIn.com. For those unable to take a test prior to game day, no admission will be granted.
PARKING INFORMATION
General public parking – will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for ADA in the Whitford Lot on Whitford Drive (GPS address: 110 Whitford Drive) and Science Drive Garage off Cameron Blvd. (GPS address: 302 Science Drive). Parking is free. For pedestrian directions to parking areas at Card Gym, please see the Duke Fencing Meet parking map above. All pedestrian routes are accessible.
Parking accessible to the general public for people with disabilities – is available in the Whitford Lot (GPS address: 110 Whitford Drive, Durham, NC 27708) located off Whitford Drive. Whitford Drive can be accessed from Science Drive via 751/Cameron Blvd or Towerview Rd. There will be a parking attendant on site and there will be no charge to park on the lot. The lot will open two (2) hours before the start of the match. If additional events intersect with the fencing competition, alternative parking may be required and will be communicated in a parking and traffic alert at www.goduke.com/gameday
