USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – Air Force Fencing released its 2022-23 schedule, announced today by the head coach Omar Elgeziry. The Falcons open competition at the North American Cup in October and end with the All-Service Academy matchups in April.
The Falcons have 12 events scheduled for the season, which includes the NACs for October, December, January and the Junior Olympics being held in Denver in February. The October NAC kicks off the season Oct. 7-10 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Air Force hosts the Western Invitational, Nov. 5-6, at the Academy. The Falcons also participate in the Elite Invitational No. 19-20 at UPenn in Pennsylvania, PA.
After the December and January NACs, the Falcons participate in the Northwestern Duels, February 4 and 5 in Evanston, Illinois, then at the invitation of North Carolina on February 11 and 12 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Following the Junior Olympics, the Falcons travel to Palo Alto, Calif., to compete in the NCAA West Regional on March 11 and the MPSF Fencing Championships on March 12.
The Falcons will attempt to qualify for the NCAA Championships, which will be held March 23-26 in Durham, NC Air Force’s final competition is the All-Service Academy Duels, April 15-16, held at the Academy with Army West Point and Navy also participating.
